Application for the MARC Program is NOW OPEN.
Eligibility Requirements
to be eligible for participation in the MARC program, you must:
- be a full-time sophomore or junior undergraduate student at KU, including transferring to KU
- The individual to be trained must be a citizen or a noncitizen national of the United States or have been lawfaully admitted for permanent residence at the time of appointment.
- intend to attend graduate school in a biomedical-related field
- meet one or more of the underrepresented groups in STEM fields as recognized by NIH Notice of Interest in Diversity.
Program Benefits
The MARC Program provides financial support for undergraduate students from underrepresented groups in the biomedical fields and who are interested in pursuing graduate school. Please visit the MARC Program Student Benefits Page to read more about the MARC program's benefits.

Please submit your application by 11:59PM on December 1st, 2020 (Deadline extended to 11:59pm on December 21st, 2020). To inquire about the status of your application, please contact the MARC program coordinator.
